Welcome to Purpose Counseling! My name is Alison Patton and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Nationally Certified Counselor.

I am trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Solution-Focused Therapy, and certified in Level 2 Gottman Couples Therapy. I’ve worked with individuals, couples, and groups and would love to partner with you to meet your wellness goals.

Change isn’t always easy but it doesn’t have to be complicated. Incremental change coupled with healthy thoughts leads to a more satisfying life and ensures we don’t repeat past hurts and behaviors. There will always be storms to navigate. Therapy won’t change that. But therapy can help you to know how to “change the changeable, accept the unchangeable, and remove yourself from the unacceptable” (Denis Waitley).
